Key conclusions (English abstract excerpt):“Sulforaphane, a natural isothiocyanate derived from cruciferous vegetables, exerts beneficial effects on high-fat-diet (HFD)-induced obesity in mice. It reduces adipose tissue accumulation, improves insulin sensitivity, and modulates lipid metabolism-related genes. However, these effects should be considered as adjunctive support for obesity management, and cannot replace fundamental lifestyle interventions including dietary modification and physical activity.”
