Sulforaphane reduces the interference of bodily inflammation on sleep by virtue of its anti – inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It regulates the neuroendocrine system as well as pathways related to neurotransmitters, and can also promote the production of melatonin to stabilize the sleep cycle. However, people with thyroid disorders, those with spleen – stomach yang deficiency, and those taking anticoagulants or traditional Chinese medicine should consume it with caution.
